Executive Resume Samples
Depending on your specific target and industry, your resume can and will come in different shapes and forms. The resume for a retail fashion industry executive will have to look quite differently than the resume for a General Counsel targeting conservative financial institutions. Form and content of your resume will be determined by your application and branding strategy as well as your target audience. Thus, the resume that I will create for you will be customized to your specific needs and to the market you are targeting. Depending on your specific objective and target, the design and style of your resume might be conservative, modern-contemporary, or possibly even creative.
Technology & Start-Up CEO Sample - US Market

Strategy Outline:
Vijay brought an impressive amount of achievements to the table. He had started his career with a Global Fortune 500, followed by launching and exiting several technology SaaS companies, before moving on to various CxO roles in start-up environments. As a consequence, his resume had become a wild "copy and paste" job that tried too hard to combine the various C-suite leadership experience (vs. laser-focusing on one field with a truly branded message).
Vijay was most interested in pursuing another CEO role, so we geared his new and optimized resume towards this specific target.

CEO Sample - Modern Contemporary
Strategy Outline
Sarah came to me with a resume that hadn't been updated within the last 8 years. The focus of her search was on a few very specific not-for-profit opportunities that required knowledge of the Midwest philanthropic scene. So we laser-focused in on her specialized experience in those fields to make her "the obvious choice." Another aspect we focused on was "cleaning up" as Sarah's old resume was overloaded with unspecific and duty focused information that wasn't properly highlighting her value.

COO Resume Sample - Modern Contemporary
Strategy Outline
Darren's resume was initially very generic, lengthy, and simply didn't highlight the capabilities that a battle proven COO should bring to the table. Thus, Darren and I "unearthed" the actual value that he clearly delivered and we completely re-branded his capabilities and re-framed his experiences. As a result, executive recruiters were able to quickly "scan" what Darren is all about without having to sift through big chunks of text.

International Procurement Executive - Creative
Strategy Outline
Pete approached me with the need for a resume to pursue a specific procurement executive position with an international fashion retailer. Pete’s current resume was an “antiquated” Ariel 11, black and white resume void of any color elements, visual enhancements, or personal branding elements.
Pete had a connection within the company and, thus, knew that visually appealing, fresh resumes with graphic highlights were preferred by some members of the executive hiring committee (presumably due to the fashion background of those members). At the same time, Pete wanted me to find the “right balance” of not going overboard with the formatting and layout. The target company logo and branding contained an orange theme which was the reason for the color choice in the resume. We opted to include several visual charts/highlights to appeal to the “fashion” readers without comprising a traditional resume structure to appeal to the not necessarily fashion minded readers at the target company.
The most important keywords circled around “strategy, cost reduction, and company growth” which we included in visual highlights as well as in Pete’s C-A-R stories. Last, but not least, we highlighted his tremendous language know-how as Pete knew that the target company sourced heavily in South America.

General Manager, Manufacturing - European Market
Strategy Outline:
Kris' initial resume was a typical traditional European "standard format" with lots of unnecessary information (e.g. date of birth, martial status) and a very heavy duty focus. The problem with those European standard formats is, by nature of a standard format, that they are geared towards making everyone look the same which is obviously not helpful when competing for competitive General Manager positions. So we did a deep dive to unearth Kris' unique capabilities and unique value proposition to provide him with a branded resume for his European target market.
